My family used to own this property when the lodge was just a hay barn! Way before my time, but I love to hear Mom tell stories of being here with her Grandpa! It's a wonderful place to kick back and relax, the red velvet couch is like a magnet!

Very pleasant place! Close to Raystown lake and a lot of hiking trails nearby. It was so quiet and dark at night, very peaceful, especially if visiting from a city. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there is still plenty of privacy in the cabins.

We stayed in a cabin in early October. It was very well kept and the owners were very friendly. We enjoyed making our own breakfasts in the mornings instead of running around all over the place to find something. It was closeby to the East Broad Top Railroad, which we came to see and ride. Would definitely recommend! Comfortable and secluded.

Beautiful views. This was a great place for us to have our family reunion. The loft with bunks is great for kids. I loved having a fireplace, nothing quite feels like a cabin without one. The kitchen has a lot of seating and the appliances and utensils you need. I can't say much about what there is to do around the area, cause our family hadn't been all together in a long time, so we were mostly looking for a place to hangout for the whole time.

We actually stayed in one of the cabins not the lodge. The cabin was quiet, peaceful and had all the accommodations needed. The front porch had an awesome swing. Loved it.

We stayed in a cabin this week as a last minute getaway to Raystown lake. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the cabin was. It had everything we needed. The cabins are very private and peaceful. We spent the day on the lake and the evenings at the pool and our campfire. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The owners were so nice and helpful. Do not hesitate to stay here. We will be back.

Love the cabins; each one the same and updated beautifully (we stayed in two and they were identical). Owners are wonderful people. In-ground pool is gorgeous and clean with lots of chaises and chairs. Literally in the middle of the woods yet close to Raystown lake. About 1/2 hour to anywhere on that side of the lake but the drive is part of the fun when you're headed out somewhere. Definitely recommend!

If you are looking for a place away from it all this is a great place to stay. Cabin was clean. Wife and I were here for an anniversary retreat. No one bothered us at all. Price was very affordable. If you are looking to hit the night life at a club...this is not the spot...an outdoor fire or just lounging around you are at the right place. The area is family friendly and the cabin is big enough for a family of 4 or 5.
